Mini Stars

Get ready to move, explore, and shine together! Mini Stars is a parent or guardian-assisted class created especially for our youngest athletes. Through playful obstacle courses, music, movement, and age-appropriate gymnastics equipment, children begin developing balance, coordination, body awareness, confidence, and important early motor skills. Every class offers a fun new adventure for your little star—and a special opportunity to learn and play together!

A great fit for

Perfect for toddlers who are ready to explore movement alongside a trusted adult.

What your athlete will work on

  • Playful movement and obstacle courses
  • Balance, coordination, and body awareness
  • Early confidence and motor development

A parent or guardian participates throughout class.

Bathroom Assistance Requirement for Children Age 5 and Younger

If your child is age 5 or younger and needs any adult help with the bathroom, a parent or guardian must remain on site for the entire class and be immediately available to assist. This includes help opening or closing doors, managing clothing, using the toilet, wiping, flushing, or washing and drying hands. Tri Stars coaches do not take children into the bathroom or provide bathroom or toileting assistance.

Transition Class · Age 3

Mighty Stars

Big energy meets big discovery in Mighty Stars! This exciting transition class introduces 3-year-olds to beginning gymnastics skills while building coordination, confidence, listening, and problem-solving skills. Athletes explore floor, bars, beam, vault, and movement circuits in a positive environment designed to keep them active and engaged. Children may participate independently or with parent support when needed as they grow more comfortable learning with their coach and class.

Perfect for energetic 3-year-olds beginning to learn with a coach and class.

What your athlete will work on

  • Beginning floor, bars, beam, and vault concepts
  • Listening and following directions
  • Coordination, confidence, and problem-solving

Shining Stars

It’s time to learn, laugh, and shine! Shining Stars gives Pre-K athletes a fun introduction to gymnastics while helping them develop strength, flexibility, balance, hand-eye coordination, and body awareness. Children explore floor, bars, beam, and vault through creative stations and exciting skill-building activities. Along the way, they practice listening, cooperation, independence, and confidence—important skills that help them shine inside and outside the gym!

Perfect for Pre-K athletes ready for a fun, structured introduction to gymnastics.

  • Strength, flexibility, and balance
  • Hand-eye coordination and body awareness
  • Listening, cooperation, and independence

Shooting Stars

Shooting Stars are ready to reach higher! Designed for kindergarten athletes, this energetic class combines fun with more focused gymnastics instruction. Children use larger equipment, practice exciting new progressions, and learn how to perform skills with stronger technique and control. Each class builds strength, flexibility, coordination, body awareness, independence, and confidence while giving athletes plenty of opportunities to move, learn, and celebrate their progress!

Perfect for kindergarten athletes ready for bigger equipment and new challenges.

What your athlete will work on

  • More complex event progressions
  • Correct technique and control
  • Strength, coordination, and confidence

Class placement is based primarily on kindergarten readiness and school placement.

Level 1 Beginner · First Grade+

Rock Stars

Every gymnast starts somewhere—and Rock Stars is an exciting place to begin! This Level 1 class introduces school-age athletes to the foundations of gymnastics across floor, beam, bars, and vault. Gymnasts work on rolls, cartwheels, handstands, bridges, beam walks and hops, bar pullovers and casts, springboard approaches, and safe landings. No previous gymnastics experience is required—just a willingness to move, try new things, and have fun while building strength, flexibility, confidence, and solid foundational skills!

A great fit for

Perfect for school-age athletes beginning gymnastics or building strong foundations.

What your athlete will work on

  • Rolls, cartwheels, handstands, and bridges
  • Beam walks, hops, and safe landings
  • Bar pullovers, casts, and springboard basics

No previous gymnastics experience is required.

Super Stars

Super Stars are ready to build bigger skills and take on exciting new challenges! This Level 2 class is designed for school-age gymnasts who have mastered their beginner foundations and are ready for more advanced progressions. Athletes continue developing skills across floor, beam, bars, and vault while improving strength, flexibility, technique, control, and confidence. With encouraging coaches and plenty of opportunities to celebrate progress, Super Stars helps every athlete keep reaching for the next level!

Perfect for gymnasts who have mastered beginner foundations and are ready to progress.

What your athlete will work on

  • Stronger technique across all four events
  • Intermediate skill progressions
  • Strength, flexibility, control, and confidence

Rock Stars skill completion or coach placement is required.

Level 3 Advanced · First Grade+

Mega Stars

Mega Stars are ready to train hard, challenge themselves, and shine bright! This 90-minute advanced recreational class gives experienced athletes additional time to develop strength, flexibility, technique, and higher-level gymnastics skills. Training may include advanced handstand work, back-handspring lead-up drills, beam cartwheels and dismount progressions, handstand flat-back vaults, and back hip circles on bars. Mega Stars is designed for athletes who have completed the beginner and intermediate curriculum, and coach or administrator placement is required.

A great fit for

Perfect for experienced recreational gymnasts ready for longer, higher-level training.

What your athlete will work on

  • Back-handspring and advanced handstand drills
  • Beam cartwheels and dismount progressions
  • Flat-back vaults and back hip circles
